Rudolph Goodie Bags

Fun, easy holiday craft

Brooke and Olivia are having their first dance recital together later this week and we are all so excited. This will probably be the only time the girls dance together. I have the option of keeping them in the same class for the spring recital. But their dance instructor and studio owner recommended I move Brooke up to the next class. As much as my mama heart wants to keep them together, I know Brooke can use the challenge and it will be good for the girls to get social interactions alone with new friends.

But lets get back on track here…

The girls will be dancing to the classic song “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer” and it honestly is the cutest routine. They both absolutely love it. They practice and sing the song everyday together.

I decided to make these adorable Rudolph bags for the girls to give to their classmates at their finale practice before the big show. I plan on filling them with a few Christmas goodies, but nothing crazy because I am not trying to break the bank here folks.

The great thing about this craft is that anyone can do it. Its amazing how a glue gun can make you feel like a master crafter. Here is what you will need to make your own

  • 6 brown paper bags
  • 12 candy canes
  • 6 red pom poms
  • 12 googly eyes
  • glue gun
  • glue sticks

First you are going to add glue to the candy canes and stick it inside the bag to resemble the antlers on your reindeer. Make sure to hold it in place while the glue cools down.

Next your going to glue your Rudolph nose (red pom pom) to the center of your bag. After that you will glue your googly eyes in place. Then you are all done!

See I told you, simple.

I hope you enjoyed this easy, fast holiday craft. Merry Christmas!
